Carbonado

 

A Film Producer plans to buy an old, defunct Australian mining site for a movie studio - a series of buildings with a checkered past including fatal accidents, family tragedy, suicides, salting and murder.

 

He’s dealing with a brother and sister who hate each other.

 

The mine has been out of use for more than 40 years. There have been recent murders, the site is haunted and half the gangs of Asia seem to have an interest.

 

Rumours of Black Diamonds (Carbonado) in the coal kindle speculation making it difficult for the police and Interpol to sort out the murders from the conspiracies.

 

Who killed who and proving it becomes as hard as the diamonds – and as illusive. Who gets the shaft in the end becomes a rush for survival and just trying to keep up.
